Emerson brings a background in recreational business operations as well as community leadership to the Bighorn River Alliance Board of Directors. As a lifelong resident of the eastern slope of the Bighorn Mountains, he has an appreciation of both the history of the area as well as its recreational values. He has fished the Bighorn for over 40 years and is committed to looking to the future to continue to improve and protect the river’s ecological health as well as its recreational values.
He currently is part owner of the King Fisher Lodge, serves on other nonprofit and governmental boards, and is a retired Civil Engineer
Emerson resides outside of Dayton Wyoming with Ceci Butler and their hunting companions Picabo and Whiskey. He continues to enjoy skiing, bird hunting, and pursuing trout with a flyrod.
