Karin is working on creating and compiling spatial data, and evaluating flow patterns on the river.  The goal of this work is to provide a baseline project dataset that includes air photos, mapped banklines, bank armor etc, that will help us understand some aspects of how the river has changed historically and where it is going with current management.  Our hope is then to use this Geographic Information System (GIS) project to continue to compile new information and identify restoration and management opportunities on the river that will improve its health and resilience to a range of climate conditions.
